Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU
Location: Chicago, IL 60631
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Regular Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Pay Rate: $50-53.84/Hourly
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, airway, pain levels, and overall recovery status.
- Identify and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Ensure patients meet appropriate recovery criteria before transfer or discharge.
- Follow all hospital policies, patient safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
- Participate in required weekday and weekend on-call rotations.
Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Previous PACU / Recovery Room nursing experience required.
- On Call is Required
