Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, pain points, and treatment goals
- Apply physiology and anatomy knowledge to develop effective treatment plans that support pain management and recovery
- Educate clients on self-care practices and occupational health strategies to maintain long-term wellness
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, client progress, and medical terminology in compliance with health regulations
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to CPR standards and sanitation protocols at all times
- Provide exceptional patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages relaxation and trust
Skills
- Proven experience in massage therapy with specialization in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy and lymph drainage and M.F.R
- Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage
- Excellent patient assessment skills to identify specific needs and customize treatment plans effectively
- Knowledge of pain management techniques and occupational health principles
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients empathetically
