Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team in Marshall, Texas. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set to handle various maintenance and repair tasks in residential settings. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. You must be able to work independently and productively. This job requires light remodeling of homes between tenants - knowledge of installing and repairing, walls, floors, cabinets, countertops, etc... is required. Must have reliable transportation and plumbing experience.
Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks. If you are not licensed in a particular area and need a license for specific work, we can outsource the project.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify issues that require attention.
- Utilize tools and equipment safely and effectively, ensuring all work is completed to industry standards.
- Respond promptly to service requests from clients or management, prioritizing tasks based on urgency.
- Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly after use.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects efficiently.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used for each job.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in maintenance work.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, and basic carpentry techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
