Job description:
We are seeking a mechanically inclined Shock Assemblers with an automotive background to join our production team specializing in high‑performance off‑road racing shocks. This role involves assembling precision mechanical components using hand and power tools while maintaining high quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly instructions — Read and follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Parts preparation — Pull, stage, and verify required parts and materials
- Component alignment — Pre‑assemble, align, and fit mechanical components
- Final assembly — Assemble complete shock units with precision
- Precision measurement — Use calipers, gauges, and other tools to ensure proper fit and alignment
- Quality inspection — Inspect completed units for accuracy and defects
- Tool maintenance — Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
- Production reporting — Record production quantities and time
- Issue reporting — Report defects, malfunctions, or process issues to supervisor
Qualifications
- Automotive mechanical experience required
- Minimum 1 year of assembly or manufacturing experience
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to follow basic written and verbal English instructions
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Overtime as needed
Work Location: In person
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
