Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient consultations to understand their vision needs and preferences.
- Fit and dispense luxury eyeglasses based on eye care provider prescriptions.
- Process spectacle and contact lens orders using Compulink, ensuring accuracy with respective labs and a high level of quality control of the finished jobs.
- Submit eyewear orders and claims through major vision care plan portals such as VSP and Eyemed.
- Assist in the sales process by recommending the best eyewear options, balancing style, functionality, and patient needs.
- Maintain professionalism in all communications, guiding patients through the appointment process all the way through to dispensing eyewear.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring patients leave with both a smile and the perfect eyewear.
- Stay on top of the latest developments in vision care and eyewear trends to offer the best solutions to our patients.
Qualifications:
- ABOC Licensed Optician (required).
- Previous experience as an optician, particularly in a premium or luxury setting, preferred.
- Strong understanding of vision and medical plan administration.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures for eyewear preparation and adjustments.
- Excellent sales skills with a passion for helping patients find their perfect eyewear.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, providing seamless patient care.
- Interested in matching patients with their perfect pair of glasses to balance visual needs and personal style.
- Familiarity with Contact lenses and training
- Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to exceptional patient experiences.
