Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Sales Representative – Territory Manager to grow and manage accounts throughout the Eastern North Carolina region. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and enjoys being on the road building long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with existing customers and prospective accounts within the assigned territory
- Set up new accounts and establish product displays on showroom floors
- Perform product knowledge sessions with customers
- Manage product drops and new product introductions
- Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate with the warehouse and operations team to ensure timely deliveries and resolve issues
- Provide exceptional service and support to customers, addressing inquiries and needs promptly
- Complete and submit prospect and sales reports regularly
- Represent Deacon professionally in the field, maintaining strong brand presence and customer trust
- Travel frequently throughout the region to maintain regular face-to-face contact with customers
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales or territory management (flooring or building materials industry preferred)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organization
- Comfortable working independently and on the road
- Basic computer and CRM proficiency
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
