Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong background in the food industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by delivering high-quality service, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining proper presentation standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in both the dining area and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely food preparation.
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed.
- Uphold all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Server in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
