Cotterman Company is the largest manufacturer of rolling metal and fixed metal ladders in North America. We are looking for experienced and motivated Robot Operators to perform various manufacturing operations. Candidates must have at least 1 year experience in a manufacturing setting.
Essential Duties:
- Load and unload robot according to work orders.
- Operate robot.
- Inspect parts for missed welds. Ensure welds are according to blueprints.
- Replace consumable parts of robot (gas, wire, etc.)
- Install fixtures and complete minor set-up adjustments.
- Deliver finished parts to proper stores location.
- Maintain a neat, clean work area.
- Work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Participate in work team problem solving.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or equivalent desired.
- Good eye-hand and motor coordination
- Ability to develop basic welding knowledge.
- Reliable with excellent attendance record.
- Able to stand at static work location for extended period.
- Ability to effectively read and write to maintain accurate documentation.
- Ability to move and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work well with co-workers to maintain a positive work environment.
