Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors in our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of medical administrative support. In this role, you will manage patient intake, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and maintain accurate medical records. Staff will have to work at different sites Villanova and Abington
- Mondays 9-5ish in Villanova
- Tuesdays 9-5ish in Abington
- Wednesdays 11-6 in Villanova
- Thursdays 9-5ish in Villanova
Responsibilities
*Conduct patient intakes and vital signs
*Answer all incoming calls, check messages, and return calls.
*Prepare referrals.(on Pear Portal)*Schedule appointments
.*Prepare client medical records.
*Verify insurance coverage and patient eligibility.(on Pear Portal)
*Collect copay, deductibles, and coinsurances.
*Conduct various office tasks such as open mail, order supplies, etc
Requirements
Experience in an outpatient medical practice for at least 3 years mandatory.
*Must have basic computer knowledge of Electronic Medical Records.
*Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to pay close attention to detail

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: $23.61 - $28.00 per hour
