We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our team. The Dental Hygiene Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hygiene department. You will be responsible for supporting the dental hygienists to deliver top-notch care. A successful candidate is thorough, efficient, personable, and passionate about patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Seat and prepare patients for hygiene appointments
- Review and update medical histories
- Update bitewings, full mouth series and panorex x-rays
- Clean, disinfect, and reset hygiene operatories between patients
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Maintain and organize hygiene supplies and inventory
- Help manage hygiene schedules and patient flow
We're looking for someone who can learn quickly, adapt easily, and manage multiple tasks with efficiency and a positive attitude. Knowledge of dental terminology and experience taking dental x-rays required.
Office hours are Monday 8-5, Tuesday 730-4, Wednesday 8-5, Thursday 730-4.
