Entry-Level Operator Assistant/ Manufacturing Assistant
Shifts and Compensation
- Openings: Immediate hiring for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
- Pay Boost: Includes a shift differential (extra hourly pay for working non-daylight hours).
Key Responsibilities
- Job Preparation: Assemble cartons, labels, pads, and bags before production runs.
- Operator Assistance: Help set up mechanical components like cylinders, folders, shrink-wrappers, and rewinders.
- Quality Control: Inspect the printed products for defects (e.g., bad cuts, glue splashes, incorrect colors, or numbering errors).
- Packaging & Logistics: Pack completed orders onto skids and into boxes according to specific client job tickets.
- Facility Maintenance: Empty trash bins, clean up glue spills, and keep the workspace organized.
Job Requirements
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Skills: Mechanical aptitude and a strong eye for detail (quality assurance).
- Experience: General manufacturing experience is requested; prior printing industry knowledge is preferred but not required.
