American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU/Recovery Room position in Normal, IL, requiring Epic EMR experience and a valid IL RN license.

Recovery Room (PACU) setting within a hospital environment
-
Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts per week
-
Weekend shifts on a rotation basis

Holiday shifts on a rotation basis

Active IL RN license required (temporary license accepted)

BLS (AHA) certification required
-
Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required

Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Performs patient assessments upon admission, develops and continuously updates individualized plans of care

Administers medications following the 5 Rights and maintains safety measures including fall precautions, pressure ulcer prevention, and isolation protocols

Delegates tasks to healthcare technicians and validates completion throughout the shift

Communicates and collaborates effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team

Manages time efficiently to facilitate timely admissions, discharges, and patient testing for Observation status patients

RTO not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract

Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at this health system for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any location within the health system
