Job Summary
Ultimate Tax Solutions is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Tax Service Agent to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will assist clients with tax preparation services, answer tax-related inquiries, maintain accurate client records, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the tax season and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with tax preparation and filing processes.
- Collect, review, and organize client tax documents.
- Educate clients on available tax services and products.
- Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
- Schedule appointments and follow up with clients as needed.
- Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and company procedures.
- Accurately enter and update client information in tax software.
- Support marketing and client retention efforts.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency and data entry experience.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in tax preparation, bookkeeping, banking, finance, or customer service.
- Knowledge of IRS tax regulations and tax software.
- PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) or willingness to obtain one.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Sales or client relationship experience.
