- Pay: $1500 - $2500 for experienced. (Piece Rate)

- Must have your own Truck/Van/Minivan, prefer that you have your own machine. (COI - we will give you time to get your COI))

About the Role.
The Drop Bury Technician will install and secure fiber from pole to home (pre-connected/plug & play) Mount and neatly install the “House Box”. (MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WITH TOOLS ON A LADDER)
This role involves ensuring proper installation techniques, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and providing high-quality service that meets company standards and customer satisfaction. Experienced Technicians are welcome!
Workload: Ongoing
Earnings:
- Experienced Tech: $300 - $600 per day top performers earnings exceed $2000/$2500K a week.
- New tech/after training: $110 - $165 per day or $700/$1000K a week. ( you will earn more as you gain experience, get better at the job and complete more jobs )
- Schedule: 6 days (Sundays off)
- Training/Orientation to be discussed with hiring manager at time of interview.
- Pay: Weekly, with a 2-week initial payment delay
- Tools: Can be provided we prefer if you have your own.
- Ladder Skills: MUST have experience working on a ladder
Responsibilities
- Install and secure fiber from pole to home (pre-connected/plug & play)

- Follow company installation policies and procedures
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle stock for jobs
- Prepare reports and documentation as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Burial of Cables:
- Install and bury coaxial and fiber optic cables in various environments, including residential and commercial properties.
- Use trenching, boring, or hand-digging methods to safely and efficiently bury cables to required depths and specifications.
- Secure cable runs, ensure proper protection against damage, and backfill trenches.
- Site Preparation and Inspection:
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to plan the best route for cable placement.
- Inspect and identify potential obstacles, such as utility lines, and follow appropriate procedures to avoid damage.
- Verify that all buried lines meet safety and quality standards.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Perform routine maintenance on buried lines and resolve any issues or damages.
- Troubleshoot and repair existing underground cable systems as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Customer Interaction and Service:
- Communicate with customers to explain the work being performed and address any questions or concerns.
- Ensure minimal disruption to the property and leave the work site in a clean and orderly condition.
Requirements
- Must own a truck, van, or minivan with a proper ladder rack
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience working on a ladder and with tools, be mechanically inclined.
- Ability to lift 80 lbs. and work at heights up to 30 feet
