Hardware Support Technician
About the Role
We are looking for a Hardware Support Technician to assist with performing maintenance service on equipment throughout the Greater Philadelphia area. Candidates must have a wide range of diagnostic and troubleshooting skills and knowledge, must be A+ certified and have the ability to perform maintenance services on various types of hardware. The candidate must be highly skilled yet generalized in the technology stack. It is crucial that the candidate be comfortable interacting with fellow employees and vendors. Experience within Government environments is preferred and candidates MUST be local to the Great Philadelphia Area.

Essential Functions and Duties
Proficient in the assembly and disassembly, calibration, usage and troubleshooting of personal computers, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, network equipment (LAN), Network Area Storage (NAS) devices, tape libraries, handheld devices, IT peripherals, and other hardware devices across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
Must be able to collaborate with team members to improve repair process and efficiency
Must be able to provide excellent customer service by addressing client issues tracked through tickets.
Must be able to perform basic time and task tracking
Must be able to travel to other locations as needed (1-2 hours)
Essential Requirements
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in managing and maintaining network environments
A+ certification is required
General diagnostic and troubleshooting knowledge
Ability to perform maintenance services on various types of hardware
Experience working in government environments is preferred
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
