Responsibilities
- Deliver top-notch hair styling and barbering services tailored to each client's unique preferences.
- Utilize advanced techniques in hair extensions, hair threading, and straight razor shaving to create flawless styles.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by adhering to sanitation protocols.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
- Utilize salon software, including MINDBODY, for scheduling appointments and managing client records effectively.
- Mentor junior stylists and barbers, sharing your knowledge of cosmetology and best practices.
- Drive retail sales by upselling products that complement the services provided.
- Assist with front desk operations, including answering phone calls and managing customer inquiries.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Barber with a valid cosmetology license.
- Strong understanding of color theory and various hair care techniques.
- Proficient in salon software systems; experience with MINDBODY is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of retail math to assist in inventory management and sales strategies.
- Ability to perform makeup application and eyelash extensions is highly desirable.
- Experience in store management or mentoring is an advantage.
