Job description:
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Pharmacy Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, managing sales transactions, and maintaining an organized and inviting store environment. This role is vital in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers and supporting daily store operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide product demos when applicable
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
- Handle cash, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling accurately
- Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment and merchandising tasks
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly
- Supervise or assist in supervising team members as needed, fostering a collaborative environment
Experience
- Previous retail/ pharmacy experience preferred, especially in Pharmacy or similar environments
- Familiarity with Prime Rx , POS systems and cashiering procedures
- Bilingual skills are a plus to serve diverse customer needs
- Experience in supervising or leading team members is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of merchandising, stock management, and upselling techniques
- Ability to maintain professional phone etiquette during customer interactions
- Experience with OTC transactions and LOTTO is a great plus as well
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
