Studio 9 is a luxury salon located inside Luxe House Georgetown, TX. We're building a team of stylists who value elevated client experiences, continued education, professionalism, and creating beautiful work in a supportive environment.
This is a commission based employee position, ideal for stylists who want structure, consistency, and growth while building their personal brand. We are looking for motivated, growth minded stylists who want more than just a chair. We want artists who value collaboration, high standards, and long term career growth.
Whether you specialize in lived in color, blending, extensions, dimensional color, cutting, or luxury styling we welcome stylists who are passionate about their craft.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional client experiences from consultation to finish
- Perform services confidently while maintaining high quality standards
- Build and retain a loyal guest clientele
- Recommend professional retail and at home care when appropriate
- Maintain a clean elevated, and professional workspace
- Continue education and stay current with trends and techniques
- Stay on schedule and manage appointments efficiently
- Promote your work and Studio 9 through social media content
- Participate in ongoing education training and team meeting when required
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology license
- Prior salon experience preferred (commission, booth rent, apprenticeship)
- Strong technical skills in cutting, coloring, or extensions
- Established or developing clientele is a plus, but not required
- Excellent client communication and customer service skills
- Professional, self motivated, and reliable
- Ability to manage your own schedule
- commitment to maintaining a clean,, high end work environment
- Passion for continued education and staying current with trends
- Active and professional social media presence (instagram preferred)
- Passion for growing your personal brand and the Studio9 brand
Studio 9 is a high end, supportive environment focussed on education, elevated guest experience, and long term stylist growth.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
