Primary Objective:
This position is responsible for ensuring that all dumping at the site is done within the rules and regulations of the site including enforcing proper hours of operation and inspecting all loads to verify they are acceptable deposits.

Work is normally done under minimum supervision.
Job Responsibilities:
Keep site and road site clean and organized.
Grade and fill holes on roads and sites with skid steer loader.
Monitor residents that may be breaking site rules.
Load products into trailers and small trucks with skid steer loader.
Help Gate Attendant with residents coming in.
Responsible for covering green waste at shift end (when applicable).
Remove Contaminants from recycling containers and piles of incoming yard waste.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good verbal communication skills.
Ability to explain in-county requirements and compost center usage.
Ability to perform manual work involving lifting (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), extensive walking and standing, digital dexterity and strenuous physical activity for prolong periods.
The employee may be subjected to temperature and weather extremes; dust, fumes, and odors from decomposing yard wastes; and hazards associated with numerous vehicles and heavy equipment operating within the site.
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with associates and the public.
Ability to resolve conflicts in calm, successful manner.
