The Role
As a HR Specialist, you’ll be hands-on with new hire processing, payroll support, and compliance. You’ll enter employees into systems, ensure paperwork is complete, assist with payroll approvals, and handle compliance tasks like E-Verify. The HR Specialist also supports employees directly by answering HR-related questions and making sure their onboarding experience is smooth. This is an entry-level role with training provided, designed for someone who has a little HR or payroll exposure and wants to build a long-term HR career.
What You’ll Do
As a HR Specialist, enter cleared applicants into payroll and HR systems
Review documentation for accuracy and follow up on missing items
Support payroll processing and timesheet approvals to ensure employees are paid correctly
Complete E-Verify and maintain compliance records on time
Respond to employee questions about HR policies, payroll, and benefits
Maintain accurate employee records in Workday and digital systems
Support overall HR operations so processes run smoothly and compliantly
What We’re Looking For
Spanish bilingual (preferred)
Some prior experience in HR, payroll, onboarding, or compliance
Strong organizational and communication skills
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks on deadlines
Eager to learn and grow into expanded HR responsibilities as the company scales
