Anchor Construction is a small, hands-on general contractor specializing in high-quality residential remodels, custom homes and new construction projects throughout the Truckee/Tahoe area. We are looking for an experienced Superintendent who can confidently manage projects from start to finish while leading crews and subcontractors with professionalism and accountability.
Responsibilities Will Include:
* Overseeing day-to-day field operations on residential remodel and new construction projects
* Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, inspections, deliveries and job site logistics
* Maintain project timelines, quality standards and site safety
* Read and interpret plans, specifications and scopes or work
* Communicate effectively with all field crews and office management
* Problem-solve in the field and proactively address issues before they impact schedule or budget
* Ensure job sites remains organized, clean and professional
* Track progress and provide regular project updates
Qualifications:
* 3 - 5 years of superintendent or lead field management experience in residential construction
* Strong knowledge of remodel sequencing and custom home construction
* Ability to manage multiple trades if necessary and maintain schedules
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Detail-oriented with high standards for craftsmanship
* Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
* Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
* Familiarity with the Truckee/Tahoe construction environment is a plus
* Our work is majorly located in the Truckee area, but Monday mornings meetings will be located at our headquarters in Reno. Must be willing to travel to both locations.
