Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces with precision and care
- Handle floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and cleaning products to ensure operational readiness
- Follow established safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to promote a safe environment for guests and staff
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest satisfaction
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to maintain overall property excellence
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles with a focus on quality service
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, buffing, and industrial cleaning equipment operation
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred for understanding guest expectations and service standards
- Familiarity with custodial practices and industrial cleaning methods to handle diverse cleaning challenges effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy items, and performing repetitive tasks over extended periods
- Ability to follow safety guidelines rigorously while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
