Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to maintain a safe environment.
- Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens.
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring quality.
- Manage outdoor work responsibilities such as patio or porch cleaning and outdoor surface maintenance when required.
- Use manual handling techniques safely for heavy lifting of furniture or appliances during deep cleaning or rearrangements.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and ensure their satisfaction with the housekeeping services provided.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation procedures.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, mops, buffers, and other janitorial tools.
- Ability to handle cleaning detergents safely while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
- Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their expectations.
