American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Illinois, requiring an active IL RN license and a minimum of 1 year of ED experience on a night shift, weekend-heavy schedule.

Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department

Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday

8-week contract

Active Illinois (IL) RN license required

Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS

Preferred certifications: ENPC, TNCC, and/or TNS

Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required

DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Responsibilities include direct and indirect patient care, evaluating outcomes, and adjusting nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient flow through the ED

Communicates with ED physicians regarding changes in patient status, symptomatology, and diagnostic study results

Must be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment

Collaborates with specialists and ancillary departments as needed
