Duties

- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
- Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that merchandise is well-displayed and stocked.
- Assist with product demonstrations to educate customers about new items or promotions.
- Support inventory management through stocking shelves and merchandising products effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective customer interaction.
- Basic math skills are required for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus; familiarity with retail math is beneficial.
