Controller - Atlanta, GA (Perimeter area)
Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000

Key Responsibilities for the Controller:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, GL) and monthly/year-end close
- Lead financial reporting, variance analysis, and cash flow management
- Manage annual audit and serve as primary liaison with external auditors
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, nonprofit standards (ASC 958), and regulatory filings
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members
- Drive process improvements and support system enhancements
Qualifications for the Controller:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA required
- 5–10 years of accounting experience, including nonprofit accounting
- Experience managing staff and leading accounting operations
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit financial reporting
- Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
