Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator with a background in the healthcare or human services field. This position requires prior experience in human resources administration, along with supervisory responsibility.
The successful candidate must be highly organized, comfortable assuming responsibility, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong technology skills are essential, as this position regularly uses online recruiting platforms, human resources systems, electronic records, spreadsheets, and other business software.

Responsibilities
- Manage job postings, applicant screening, and interview scheduling
- Coordinate recruiting activities and maintain communication with applicants
- Conduct new-hire onboarding, background checks, reference checks, and employment verification
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
- Monitor required certifications, training, and employment documentation
- Ensure hiring and personnel practices comply with organizational policies and applicable requirements
- Support employees and supervisors with routine human resources questions and concerns
- Assist with employee relations, performance documentation, and corrective-action procedures
- Supervise assigned personnel and help coordinate departmental responsibilities
- Use technology to track applicants, employees, documentation, and hiring progress
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting, onboarding, and HR administrative processes
- Work with management to address staffing needs and maintain appropriate coverage
- Assist with the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures
- Assume additional HR administrative and leadership responsibilities as needed
Required Qualifications
- Previous human resources experience in a healthcare or human services organization
- Previous experience in an HR administrative role
- Previous experience with supervisory responsibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- Strong working knowledge of computers and business technology
- Ability to learn and confidently use HR software, recruiting platforms, electronic records, spreadsheets, and online systems
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Ability to work effectively with employees, applicants, supervisors, and management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with high-volume recruiting and onboarding
- Knowledge of healthcare or human services employment requirements
- Experience with HR information systems, applicant-tracking systems, and electronic personnel records
- Experience with employee relations, performance management, compliance, and personnel documentation
- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making ability
