Position Overview
UELLC is seeking a skilled and versatile Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for preparing residential properties for occupancy through maintenance repairs, property improvements, turnover services, and general support tasks.
The ideal candidate is experienced in residential maintenance, adaptable in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable assisting with multiple trades including painting, cleaning, and general property preparation. This position requires someone who can identify solutions, take initiative, and help ensure every property meets company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare single-family homes and apartments for new residents
- Complete general maintenance and repair tasks across residential properties
- Perform basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting
- Conduct plumbing maintenance and fixture replacements
- Repair drywall and complete interior/exterior painting
- Perform finish carpentry, trim, and cabinetry repairs
- Assist with property cleaning, debris removal, and turnover preparation
- Support additional trades and departments as needed to complete projects efficiently
- Conduct property inspections to identify repair needs and quality concerns
- Ensure homes meet move-in-ready standards and company expectations
- Maintain clear communication with property management and team members
- Effectively manage schedules and meet turnover deadlines
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Properly maintain tools and equipment
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential maintenance, facilities maintenance, or property turnover services
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Electrical maintenance
- Plumbing
- Drywall repair
- Painting
- Carpentry and cabinetry
- General property maintenance
- Must be comfortable assisting with additional trades and turnover responsibilities, including painting and cleaning
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Dependable, professional, and adaptable mindset
RequirementsTools & Transportation
- Must possess basic maintenance tools
- Reliable transportation and a functional vehicle required for travel to job sites
- Smart device required for communication, scheduling, and documentation
Licensing & Background
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be able to pass a background check
