NOW HIRING: PART-TIME NANNY AND FAMILY ASSISTANT IN HIGH POINT
A wonderful family in High Point is seeking a warm, dependable, proactive, and highly organized nanny and family assistant to support four children, ages 18, 14, 12, and 7.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Start date: ASAP
Pay: $17-$19 per hour, based on experience
The Ideal Candidate
The family is looking for someone who is patient, confident, organized, and proactive. The right candidate will be comfortable balancing after-school childcare with household management responsibilities and providing structure and accountability for school-aged children.
Primary Responsibilities
- Providing attentive after-school care and supporting homework and routines
- Safely transporting children from school and to agreed-upon activities
- Preparing simple snacks and helping with next-day lunches
- Assisting with children’s laundry, household organization, and light tidying
- Helping with household supply orders and light care for the family’s cats
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Previous professional childcare experience
- A reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Comfortable supporting a child with ADHD and following peanut-allergy safety practices
- Comfortable with cats and occasional additional or overnight care
