Join Our Team as a Multifamily Maintenance Technician!
Are you a skilled maintenance professional who takes pride in keeping communities safe, functional, and attractive? We're looking for a dependable and motivated Maintenance Technician to support our multifamily apartment communities.
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in maintaining apartment homes and community facilities while providing exceptional service to our residents.
Responsibilities Include:
- Complete service requests and work orders in a timely manner
- Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and carpentry issues
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (turns/make-readies)
- Maintain community grounds, amenities, and common areas
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance needs
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards
- Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience preferred
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general repairs
- Ability to diagnose and solve maintenance issues independently
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- EPA Certification and HVAC experience are a plus
- Valid driver's license required
- Reliable transportation required
- Current proof of automobile insurance required
This is an active, hands-on position that supports four multifamily communities and requires regular travel between properties throughout the workday.
Candidates must be able to:
- Walk extensively throughout apartment communities each day
- Frequently climb stairs while carrying tools, equipment, and supplies
- Stand, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and work in various positions for extended periods
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Access maintenance areas including attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and utility rooms
- Travel between four separate communities as needed to complete work orders, inspections, and maintenance projects
