Job Summary
Andrus Power Solutions is looking for a full-time Generator Service Coordinator / Dispatcher to help manage the day-to-day operations of our generator service department.
The primary focus of this position is scheduling and coordinating our service technicians, while serving as a main point of contact for customers throughout the service process. This person will help make sure each service call moves from scheduling through completion, including technician paperwork, parts ordering and any necessary follow-up work.
Responsibilities include:
- Build and manage daily and weekly schedules for our generator service technicians
- Schedule preventative maintenance, repairs, warranty work and emergency service calls
- Route and assign technicians based on location, availability and qualifications
- Answer customer calls, schedule service and provide updates throughout the service process
- Adjust technician schedules as emergencies, cancellations and other changes arise
- Open and maintain service work orders with accurate customer and generator information
- Track open work orders and make sure technicians complete required notes and documentation
- Review completed work orders and identify any necessary follow-up work
- Order and track parts needed for generator repairs and coordinate return visits once parts arrive
- Follow up with customers regarding outstanding repairs, scheduling and service needs
- Coordinate warranty work and assist with manufacturer documentation as needed
- Work closely with technicians, parts/vendors and the office team to keep service work moving from initial call through completion
We’re looking for someone who is highly organized, comfortable managing a busy and constantly changing schedule, and genuinely good with customers. Strong follow-through is extremely important — this role isn't just about putting appointments on a calendar; it's about making sure the work actually gets completed.
Previous dispatching, scheduling or customer service experience in generators, electrical, HVAC, plumbing or another field-service business is strongly preferred. Generator knowledge is a plus, but we can teach the right person our industry and systems.
Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday.
This is an in-office position with Andrus Power Solutions.
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
