Lead AV Installation Technician

Amp AV is a growing custom integration company serving the Greater Phoenix area. We specialize primarily in high-end residential home theaters, whole-home audio, networking, smart home automation, and outdoor entertainment systems. While our focus is residential, commercial installation experience is a plus.
We're looking for an experienced Lead AV Installation Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, solves problems independently, and enjoys building systems the right way.
Responsibilities
- Lead residential AV installations from start to finish
- Install TVs, projectors, speakers, equipment racks, and related technology
- Run and terminate low-voltage wiring
- Configure and troubleshoot AV and network systems
- Maintain clean, organized, professional installations
- Mentor apprentice technicians and communicate professionally with customers
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of residential AV installation experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience with home theaters, distributed audio, TV mounting, structured wiring, and residential networking
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Professional attitude, reliability, and attention to detail

If you have no hands-on residential AV installation experience, this position is not for you. We're looking for an experienced technician who can contribute immediately, not someone looking to enter the industry.
Preferred
- Experience with Savant, Control4, or similar automation platforms
- Experience with Ubiquiti networking
- Commercial AV experience
- CTS certification is a plus
