Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient examinations, including medical and dental history assessments, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging to determine accurate diagnoses.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that encompass preventive care, restorative procedures, orthodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry as needed.
- Conduct various dental procedures such as dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canal therapy, extractions, implants, and other restorative treatments using aseptic techniques.
- Utilize dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for documentation of medical records, treatment notes, billing information, and compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
- Maintain high standards of infection control and sterilization protocols to ensure patient safety and adhere to OSHA guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, post-treatment care instructions, and answer any questions with clarity and professionalism.
- Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment practicing four-handed dentistry to optimize efficiency and patient comfort.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques through continuous education and training.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for efficient practice management.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and infection control procedures.
- Expertise in a broad range of dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontics (crowns & bridges), orthodontics (braces & aligners), oral surgery & implants.
- Ability to perform pediatric dentistry procedures with sensitivity toward young patients’ needs.
- Excellent client communication skills to foster trust and ensure patient understanding of treatment plans.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws to maintain confidentiality and legal compliance.
- Experience working in a busy dental office or clinic environment with a focus on quality patient care.
- Strong diagnostic skills for healthcare diagnosis related to oral health issues.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,250.00 per day
