Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Vehicle Wrap Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality vehicle wraps and graphics to a variety of vehicles, ensuring precise surface preparation, installation, and finishing. Your expertise will help transform vehicles into eye-catching works of art while maintaining the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship. Duties
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and performing automotive surface preparation to ensure optimal adhesion of wraps and graphics
- Measure, cut, and align vinyl wraps or decals accurately using hand tools and surface measurement techniques
- Apply vehicle wraps using specialized tools such as squeegees, heat guns, and airless paint spraying equipment to achieve smooth finishes without bubbles or wrinkles
- Use welding equipment and mechanical knowledge to repair or modify vehicle panels as needed before wrapping
- Conduct auto body repairs, buffing, polishing, and detailing to ensure a flawless final appearance
- Perform surface masking, sanding, and painting with conventional spray guns for custom finishes or touch-ups
- Operate power tools including grinders, sanders, and auto painting equipment safely while adhering to respiratory protection protocols
- Assist with auto restoration projects by preparing surfaces for painting or coating spray applications
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling paints, primers, adhesives, and other automotive products
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining procedures and ensuring client satisfaction with finished work
Qualifications
- Prior dealership experience or automotive industry background preferred but not required
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools for surface preparation and repairs
- Experience with welding, auto body repair, auto restoration, and automotive buffing is highly desirable
- Knowledge of surface preparation masking techniques, sanding methods, and auto painting processes including airless paint spraying is essential
- Familiarity with automotive glass installation and detailing techniques is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship in vehicle wrapping and finishing work
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about project progress and outcomes
- Valid driver’s license preferred; mechanic experience is an added advantage
