Privately owned dermatology practice, looking for a motivated, reliable candidate for full time medical assistant position. The medical assistant is responsible for assisting the physician with patient care, including rooming patients, obtaining history and consents, scribing and assisting in patient education on treatment plans, prescriptions. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing exam rooms, prior authorizations, patient communications and completion of pathology and lab requisition documents. Procedures include suture removal, administering medications and assisting in minor surgical and cosmetic procedures.
Working knowledge of EMA EMR preferred
