Step into a rewarding, contract-based opportunity supporting students in a dynamic educational environment from August 2026 to June 2027. Three positions are available for dedicated Special Education Teachers to work full-time, Monday through Friday, in roles serving Kindergarten, Grades 1-2, and Grade 7 resource/case management. These roles offer the chance to make a meaningful impact for students in K-7th grade, all within a positive and collaborative in-person setting.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with K-7th grade students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment
- Flexibility and creativity in adapting instruction
- Previous resource or case management experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support for assigned caseload: Kindergarten Resource, Grade 1-2 Resource, or 7th Grade Resource/Case Manager
- Develop and execute lesson plans tailored to students’ needs and goals
- Collect data and monitor student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and school teams to ensure alignment of services
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
- Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth and success
