Job Summary

Duties
- Manage and maintain legal case files using document management systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Draft, proofread, and review legal documents including contracts, pleadings, correspondence, and reports with precision and attention to detail.
- Assist with document review, data entry, filing, and organizing case materials.
- Coordinate client interviews, schedule meetings, and manage attorney calendars to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Support attorneys with project management tasks
- Handle administrative duties such as answering phones with professional etiquette, managing email correspondence, proofreading documents for accuracy, transcribing dictations accurately, and maintaining organized filing systems.
- Provide executive administrative support by preparing reports and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a legal secretary or legal administrative assistant with familiarity in law office operations.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents with exceptional writing skills; ability to proofread meticulously.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities.
- Experience in conducting interviews or client intake is a plus.
- Knowledge of document review procedures and familiarity with data entry processes in a legal context is preferred.
- Paralegal experience or certification is advantageous but not required; relevant clerical or administrative experience is essential.
