Overview:
This part-time Physical Therapist I will generally provide weekend-only services and will perform evaluation and subsequent planning, execution, and supervision of therapy programs for persons with neuromotor dysfunction. The Physical Therapist will participate in intra-disciplinary and interdisciplinary training programs for affiliating students, staff, and community agencies; maintain appropriate patient records; and clinical supervision of physical therapist assistants, physical therapy aides,.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate assigned patients; plan programs; execute, supervise, and document programs as planned.

Maintain written documentation, including patient reports, according to procedures of department, Institute, and Maryland PT guidelines.

Assist in care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.

Provide daily guidance and direction to Physical Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy Aides.

Participate in planning and execution of programs for personal professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
- Individual must demonstrate competence across all age groups due to the diversity of the children and families served by KKI.
- Clinical care focus is on the neonate, pediatric, and adolescent populations, as well as some adults with disabilities.

Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy

Experience in pediatrics and/or rehabilitation and treatment preferred but not required.

The individual will be able to address the needs of certain specific adults with disabilities on a case by case basis as determined by the physician and director.

Must be eligible for license to practice physical therapy in the State of Maryland
Minimum pay range: USD $40.00/Hr. Maximum pay range: USD $85.00/Hr.
