HVAC-R Refrigeration Service Technician
We are looking for a Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team! Quality Refrigeration is a 3 generation family owned business that is rapidly growing and we are looking to hire more technicians to meet our customer's needs. Your position will assist in servicing and repairing an array of commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment. We offer opportunities for skill development through on the job training as well as professional training and education programs.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot various refrigeration equipment issues
- Provide a positive customer service experience
- Complete part replacements
- Responsible for part ordering and maintaining truck stock
- Install, repair or replace electrical components
- Communicate and work effectively as a team
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- On call schedule - not more than one rotation per month
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Refrigeration or HVAC fields. Preferred (3+ years of experience)
- Thorough understanding of the refrigeration cycle and basic diagnostic/troubleshooting skills
- Basic electrical knowledge for 24V – 480V
- Ability to braze and solder copper pipe
- EPA 608 License
- Positive and honest attitude with a focus on being thorough
- Strong communication skills with office and field team
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and complete physical tasks
- Clean driving record and valid Driver's License

Salary: $25.00 - $42.00 per hour
