Abbey Placements is looking for an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a non-profit organization in the Peoria, IL area.
Description of Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Conduct assessments, develop behavior intervention plans, and oversee strategies to promote positive behavior change
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behavior
- Develop and implement individualized behavior support plans (BSPs) based on assessment findings
- Provide ongoing supervision and training to behavior staff and other team members
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, ISC’s, interdisciplinary team and other stakeholders
- Full-time, direct hire position
Requirements of Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required
- 3 years of experience working as a BCBA, 1 year of experience working with adults with disabilities
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, comorbid diagnoses, and other related conditions
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
- Must pass a drug screen and a criminal background check
- Reliable work history with good references required
Compensation of Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- $75K-$80K per year
