Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laboratory Technician to support daily laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will assist with sample preparation, testing, data collection, and equipment maintenance while following strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role is critical to ensuring accurate results and efficient lab workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, label, and process samples according to established procedures
- Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses under supervision
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Record, analyze, and report results accurately and in a timely manner
- Follow all safety protocols, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment
- Assist with inventory management, including reagents and supplies
- Document procedures and results using laboratory information systems
- Support quality control and quality assurance processes
Requirements:
- Mississippi Medical Cannabis Work Permit
- Must be 21 years in age
- Previous laboratory experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow written protocols and safety guidelines
- Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and procedures
- Basic understanding of Cannabis and Cannabis concentrates
- Proficiency with data entry and basic computer systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
