Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Provide detailed information about merchandise, including features, benefits, and pricing
- Process transactions accurately using cash handling and cashiering procedures, including cash management and retail math calculations
- Support customers with banking-related inquiries such as deposits, withdrawals, or basic financial services
- Assist with loan processing tasks when applicable, ensuring proper documentation and compliance
- Maintain organized displays and stock levels to enhance the shopping experience
- Handle customer questions or concerns professionally, ensuring high levels of customer service at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Basic math skills including retail math, cash handling, and 10 key typing proficiency
- Familiarity with financial software or point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills with an ability to connect with diverse customers
- Ability to perform cashiering duties accurately and efficiently under pressure
- Basic understanding of banking or financial services is advantageous
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to stand for extended periods
