American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring an active Ohio or compact license and 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience.

Work in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit of a hospital environment
-
Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
-
Options for 4x12, 3x12, or 2x12 shift schedules available
-
Active Ohio RN license or compact license required in hand

Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required prior to travel assignment

Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required, with willingness to obtain NIHSS prior to start

One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required for consideration

Skilled in cardiac monitoring and emergency response

Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

Provide Med/Surg Telemetry nursing care with a focus on cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management

ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation with an acceptable score required

Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate

First-time travelers are not required for this position

Permanent and per diem candidates must wait 1 year from their previous end date before returning to this health system

Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, with a 6-month break required before returning unless client-approved
