American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Observation/Med-Surg position at a Level I Trauma Center, with telemetry capability and a minimum of 1 year of experience required.

30-bed Observation and Medical-Surgical unit with telemetry capability at a Level I Trauma Center
-
Diverse patient population spanning all ages
-
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–6
-
Unit is supported by PCTs, a Healthcare Unit Coordinator, monitor techs, and virtual sitter monitoring
-
Night shift: 18:30–07:00
-
Up to 6 weekend shifts required per 13-week contract, based on department needs
-
Holiday coverage required based on department needs
-
Active RN license (Compact or Oklahoma state license) currently in hand
-
Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to assignment start
-
Current BLS certification required — must be AHA-issued
-
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address

Valid driver's license required

Provides direct nursing care including implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and managing discharge planning

Must demonstrate critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment
