Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and agricultural sites to identify pest activity and infestation levels.
- Apply pest control treatments using appropriate chemicals, traps, or natural methods while adhering to safety regulations.
- Develop customized pest management plans that include preventative strategies for long-term control.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely to prepare treatment areas or perform landscape maintenance.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, treatments administered, and follow-up recommendations for clients.
- Assist with lawn care, landscaping projects, or farming activities as needed to support property health and aesthetics.
- Drive company vehicles to various job sites while following all safety protocols and traffic laws.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of pest control techniques and products, with the ability to identify common pests in different environments.
- Experience with lawn care, landscaping, farming or agriculture practices is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely and effectively.
- Excellent driving skills with a valid license; comfortable operating company vehicles over diverse terrains.
- Familiarity with land management practices including the use of spray equipment or other pest control devices.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
- Good communication skills for explaining treatment plans and safety procedures to clients.
