About the Position
We are seeking a Facilities & Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager to lead maintenance and safety initiatives across our three aerospace manufacturing locations. You will be instrumental in fostering a compliant, efficient, and secure workspace that supports diverse operations, such as CNC machining, assembly, chemical processing, plating, heat treating, blasting, and NDT inspection.
Core Responsibilities
Facilities & Maintenance Oversight

Organize and oversee the maintenance of grounds, building infrastructure, electrical systems, and machine tools.

Manage and guide the maintenance staff to ensure all repair, modification, and preventive tasks are completed effectively.

Implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies to boost equipment longevity and reduce operational downtime.

Collaborate with operations and production departments to align maintenance tasks with manufacturing goals and reduce workflow interruptions.

Keep accurate records of compliance logs, maintenance history, equipment diagrams, and technical specifications.

Oversee facility improvement projects, including infrastructure upgrades and the installation of new equipment.

Manage relationships with third-party contractors and vendors to ensure all projects remain on schedule, within budget, and meet safety standards.
Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S)

Direct our EH&S initiatives to maintain full adherence to state, local, EPA, and OSHA regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with the EH&S Specialist to drive the successful execution of safety training and policy implementation throughout the facility.

Maintain robust protocols for the storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials, specifically those utilized in our processing and plating departments.
Required Qualifications
Background & Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.

At least seven years of professional experience managing maintenance, facilities, and EH&S within a manufacturing setting.

A minimum of three to five years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.

Prior experience working within aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.

Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC skilled trades.
Skills & Competencies

Comprehensive understanding of facility infrastructure, industrial machinery, and maintenance management systems.

Expertise in EH&S regulatory standards, including hazardous material management and EPA/OSHA compliance.

Proficiency in utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Demonstrated capacity to handle competing priorities while maintaining productivity in a fast-moving, high-volume environment.
