Job Summary
We're seeking a motivated Insulation Technician to join our growing team. In this hands-on role, you'll install and remove insulation systems in residential homes, ensuring optimal energy efficiency and comfort for our clients. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth in the home performance industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Install various types of insulation materials (e.g., fiberglass, cellulose) in attics, walls, crawl spaces, and other areas of residential properties.
- Conduct site assessments to determine insulation needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Use tools and equipment safely to prepare surfaces, apply insulation, and remove insulation.
- Collaborate with team members on energy audits and home performance projects.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and company protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service, explaining processes and answering client questions.
Qualifications
VALID DRIVERS LICENSE IS REQUIRED!
- 1+ years of experience in insulation installation, construction, or a related field (entry-level candidates with relevant skills encouraged to apply).
- Knowledge of insulation materials, tools, and techniques; familiarity with energy efficiency principles is a plus.
- Comfortability working in attics and crawl spaces.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in confined spaces, attics, and varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
