Non-Affiliated Staff Position
POSITION: Registered Behavior Technician
LOCATION: Stafford Elementary School
SALARY and BENEFITS: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

10-month position (184 work days)

Responsibilities:
-
Assist with delivering behavior analysis services and practice under the direction of the BCBA
-
Implement programs and behavior intervention plans provided by a special education teacher/BCBA/School Psychologist
-
Collect and record data regarding student behavior including progress notes
-
Maintain accurate records of student data
-
Communicate with school staff regarding student plans
-
Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries with staff, students, and parents
-
Assist special education teacher/BCBA with providing discrete trial instruction
-
Collaborate with all team members including teachers, paraeducators, administrators, related service providers, and parents
-
Follow RBT ethics codes as required by the BACB (see attached Ethics Code)

Immediately reports to special education teacher or BCBA any student incidents or complaints
-
Perform other responsibilities as designated by the Director of Pupil Services and supervisory BCBA in accordance with the BACB's published task list

Maintains Safety Care training
-
Participates in team meetings including Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings, as requested

Attends all required staff meetings
Qualifications:
-
Previous exposure to or experience in the education sector preferred
-
Certification as an RBT received by the BACB
-
Experience with students identified on the autism spectrum and emotional disabilities
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills
