We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Intervention Specialist to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with diverse learning needs. In this role, you will develop and implement individualized educational plans, provide specialized instruction, and collaborate closely with families, teachers, and support staff. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver tailored instructional strategies aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring compliance with special education laws and regulations
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ unique needs in areas such as literacy, math, speech therapy, deaf education, visually impaired education, and behavioral health
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapies including applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral management techniques for students with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt curricula and instructional modifications that support diverse learners’ success
- Facilitate communication with parents and guardians through regular updates, conferences, and progress reports to foster strong home-school partnerships
- Utilize educational technology tools to enhance learning experiences and track student progress effectively
- Provide training and mentoring to classroom staff on behavior management strategies, instructional design, and special education best practices
Experience
- Proven experience working with children or students with disabilities in educational or therapeutic settings
- Background in speech therapy, literacy education, math instruction, or early childhood education highly preferred
- Familiarity with special education law, IEP development, and educational compliance standards
- Hands-on experience applying behavioral therapy techniques such as ABA or music therapy in classroom or clinical environments
- Knowledge of assistive learning technology and instructional design tailored for learners with developmental disabilities or sensory impairments
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, therapists, parents, and administrators
- Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning atmosphere

Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
