Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced skilled CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer-aided design and drafting, with proficiency in Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and AutoCAD Civil3D. This role is essential for supporting our surveying team in creating detailed topographic maps, boundary maps, and other survey deliverables. The CAD Technician will work closely with project managers and surveyor to ensure that all designs meet specifications and project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Utilize CAD software such as ORD and AutoCAD Civil 3D to create detailed drawings and models.
- Draft and revise technical drawings based on input from surveyors and project managers.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions.
Experience
- Expert Proficiency in CAD software
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within a team environment.
- A degree or certification in CAD technology or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
Requirements
- Must have at least 3 years work experience in drafting for civil/utilities/land surveying utilizing Bentley OpenRoads and/or Civil 3D
